1965 oldsmobile cutlass rear

Picked up a 1965 oldsmobile 10 bolt rearend this weekend. it's set me back a 150 dollars but it is a posi model and seems to be all there, when I got it home water came out around where the pinion yoke goes, but I took the cover off tonight and the everything inside is greased up so I'm guess the unit will turn I'm going to drop the brakes tomarrow and check it out.

I plan on getting new bearings put in and redoing the brakes and lines anything I should look for while I'm tinkering around?

thanks again

oh, what do I use to clean the inside of the unit out without taking everything out of it?

Many years ago when I had a 66 model, I read that the Olds 10 bolt was an odd ball and not the same as a chevy. I also read there were some parts that were hard to find for them. Good luck.

Other than wiping out the Buildup/Crud, you can use 'Brake Clean'.
