1966 Impala w/a '65 front end. Need advice.

I purchased the car with a '65 front fenders, headlight assy, bumpers, valance, etc. I noticed that the prev. owner did not include the "skirt extensions", or inner and outer reinforcements (see attachments). The extensions hold the front marker lights in place and the reinforcements just reinforce the grille.

I actually like the look of the '65 front end, so I am going to keep it, but I have a couple of questions:

1. Where can I find these parts? Can't find them on ebay.
2. Is it OK to have the existing core support from the '66 to accomodate the '65 front end components?
3. How hard is it to modify the body to have a place to mount the bottoms of the fenders?
4. Any other things I need to look out for to finish the front end?

I have attached two exploded views of the '65 front end from the assembly manual and one photo of the front of my car.

Any help is appreciated.

Try Memory Lane Auto Parts www.oldautoparts.com , the front end will work fine, biggest difference is the 2 piece fender (the extension) on the 65, it's 1 piece in 66.
