1967 GTO suspensiom issues
I recently bought a 1967 GTO basket case. The body is in excellent shape as is the frame. I need help with the details on the mountingof the rear coil springs.
Rear springs should be easy. The top of the spring has a rubber insulator that slides over the top coil , to help with noise and spring pocket wear.
The bottoms should just rest in the little saddles on the rear end.
They may also bolt down with a little retainer plate.
When you put on the shocks, they limit the suspension travel so the springs cant fall out.Hope this helps.
