1967 VW bug window regulator
We're trying to make do with used regulators but both have a slight bend on the regulator where it bolts to the bottom of the door. It has all new rubber window channels and they're greased up, fully seated, and are open enough to where it should roll up good but when it gets to the top it's binding somewhere. I believe it's cause the bend at the bottom of the brace that runs up/down and bolts to the bottom of the door. I think it leaves the glass at a cocked angle. Does anyone know of they're supposed to be bent? I feel like taking the door panel back and just taking my slide hammer and yanking it out a bit cause to take it off means to take everything out, if you know the order to bolt those doors up...they suck!
Any help appreciated.
