Sheesh!! the skys the limit. the only thing you'll be limited by is your wallet. go back and read some posts from other people doing mods to their engines. There are infinite combos You have to decide just exactly what you want from that engine and then figure out how much you can spend.....Then ask some one here and they can help you...GlennK

Throw on a dual plane high rise manifold such as edelbrock rpm or equivalent along with a 600 or 650 carb. Bolt on some headers with 2.5 inch piping and good mufflers. Add in a street performance cam such as comps XE262H. Desktop dyno gives 285hp and 360ft-lbs with this combo.

Add some gears to the back along the lines of 3.55-3.73 and if its an automatic add a converter stalling from 2200-2800.

In Drag 2000 I put this engine into a 3300lb 69 camaro w/2500rpm stall th-350, 3.73s, 26x8.5 inch tires and it spit out 13.66 @ 90mph.

Now here you have a street friendly small block camaro that will beat 85% of the cars out there and still get decent gas mieage for under $2500. If that money is buring a whole in your pocket invest in some good heads,MSD ignition and a roller cam and the sky is the limit from there.

If you are using it as a daily driver? do not put that holly on it! if you do you will be sorry! the first place i would start with is the exhaust? put a 1-15 presure gauge up stream of the nmuffler and place it so you can see it wile driving, if you get more than 3psi backpresure you need to open up the exhaust or get a flowmaster race muffler.
