1968 Chevelle SS 396

Here is the 1968 Chevelle that I finished last fall. The door panels are replacements, but I did everything else. I hope you like it.

Good job,What color code is that? I have a 68 SS396 also undergoing restoration. It's an all matching # car 3rd owner # 35 from Atlanta plant. You have the same idea that I have about the trim on it.No moldings on the sides and the wheel well moldings look better on the 68s.No skunk stripes either.Mine is about ready to paint and thinking of a gunmetal grey or something along those lines.Single stage.

I had a buddy in the army with me that had one like that. He raced it on week ends in Wichita Ks. and it ran mid 13's stock. That car was a blast and when ever he went cruising I begged him to ride along. A lot of good memories! Thanks for the pic's.
