ill b using it for daily driver till i finally get all the little details out the way like body work and interior but im starting out with the power train..i want it to have fairly amount of power of the line but also be highway drivable...and preferably i would go manual but im open to what ever benefits me

2.95 1ST gear V8 T5 with the S10 tailhousing conversion would solve a lot of your problems. Good to 300hp or more if you don't whip it too hard. Sidestepping the clutch daily would kill it.
