i also have those nastyz28 links and noticed the TBX results...1970 350...which im not sure if i should be happy or sad LOL. but is the TBX the only useful information out of all those numbers? it almost looks like 2 partial vin numbers aer stamped on it?!

Code Year CID Vehicle HP RPO Trans Carb Comments
TBX 70 350 Truck 255 LS-9 TH 350 4-Brl C 10 & C 20, Van
TBX 79 350 Truck 155 LS-9 TH 350 4-Brl
Don't forget 70 350 is rear engine horsepower and 79 is rear wheel horsepower.

Cylinder heads
462624.....75-86...350/400......76cc chamber, 1.72/1.5, 1.94/1.5 or 2.02/1.6 valves

Buddy, You may have a 4 bolt main truck motor.

The year of the heads 75-86 tells me it a 79 350sbc.
I may be wrong on the 4 bolt main.
