Question 1969 Camaro

Hello Everyone,
I have a question for anyone out there that can help me. I recently picked up a 1969 Camaro. It needs a litle work. I noticed when I opened the hood and cleaned off the engine That the inside fire walls were painted orange and that it have heavy duty lines in. Also saw a sticker for Tonawanda, and a pace car sticker. I was wondering how do I find out what I have here..is this a rare or special car? Please Help me if you can. Thanks in advance

There should be a cowl tag on the firewall next to the windshield wiper motor. Clean that off and you can see what you really have. And I would keep the car regardless of what Bullheimer says. It could be worse, you could have an old army looking truck with no hood.
