1969 Camaro Dash Lights Out

Hey guys,

I am still trying to fix my dash lights. Here is the situation I have no dash lights except for the lights in the heat/AC controls it works fine. I have done all of the following with no luck: HELP

1. Replace the light switch, yes the ground on the switch is connected and clean.
2. The bulbs have been replaced
3. The lighter is not hooked up so there shouldn't be any kind of interference there.
4. The fuse is good

Any help is always appreciated.
Dave

Cluster

Doc here,

Be sure your Instrument cluster had a GOOD ground.

next, go to the AC/Heater controls..do they dim as advertised? Then troubleshoot forward, you'll probably find an open wire between there and the cluster..

If all else fails, you can abandon the current cluster dimmer and bypass it to the AC/Heater lamps..

Doc
