1969 chevelle body off resto
I am in the process of trying to remove a brand new,perfect headliner from my car and do not want to screw it up. Interior and upholstery are not my strong suits. I dont understand how it is fastened around the edges after you remove the piping { or whatever its called}.

I am not an expert either as I have never removed a 69 chevelle headliner. But I think if you remove the "U" molding along the sides you will find it is just hooked around the metal lip that the U channel goes around.
I think it will be easy to see as soon as you pull that channel molding. Rich

Thanks for the info. I had the "U" off but didnt want to tear anything. Thanks for the help. I cant type worth a flip!
