1969 Chevy 1 ton 396...

Okay so i have a pretty nice 69 chevy 1 ton truck. It has a 396 which runs good just getting a little tired. So i'm looking to rebuild it but wondering if anyone had any pointers on cams rebuild kit and so on. i want to build some horsepower but nothing over the top im looking at maybe a cam intake and a bigger 4 barrels is all. Any help or opinions would be great.

Welcome to the site, What exactly do you mean tired how many miles we talking about ? Are you just looking to do a cam swap or do it right and freshen up the entire engine ?
