1969 Dodge Super Bee padded dash removal
I need to figure out how to replace the dash pad in a 1969 Dodge Super Bee. Is the dash pad glued on or screwed on?

It is probably screwed on, so you'll have to stand on your head with a flashlight under the dash.

Not saying it would be the same, but I have my 77 Ford pickup dashpad off right now. It's held on with nuts to studs attached to the underside of the metal that the dash pad is formed on. There's about 6-7 of them. I would imagine it won't be pleasant trying to find them and get them off with everything still under the dash.

It should be like my old 67 Dart. Mopar liked to keep things simple till the mid 70's.
A series of nuts along the perimiter of the pad from underneath. Pull your glove box, gauge cluster and maby even heater controlls. The dash is assembled at the plant as a unit. Unless you have Asian woman hands your gonna get cut. Cool cars by the way. |
