1969 mUSTANG 8" FOR A 65?
i AM TRYING TO FIND A NEW REAR END SINCE MY 7 1/4 IS A WEAK UNIT ACCORDING TO YOUR MEMBERSI found a 69-70 8" but unsure about the interchangability of the tube length. probably longer eh?

I have a chart for the 9" in these cars, I would think the 8" is the same width(disclaimer
 ) It lists the '65 as 52 1/4" total width flange to flange, and the '69 as 54 1/4" total. So if info is correct the '69 is 2 inches wider, the spring pads are the same distance apart.

yes.. won't work w/ factory rims. '69 and 70 stangs are a wider body car, so things like that arn't quite right.. you could get rims to correct the offset tho.. 2" is all you would need
