1970 250 C mercedes

I have a 1970 250 C Mercedes and I would like to change the engine for some other manufacturers. Has anyone accomplished this job satisfactorily.

Mercdes swap

There are LOT of guys stuffing small block Fords in there due to oil pan vs front susp issues, general engine width and length, etc. Its all going to depend on how much work (and $$$) you want to devote to it. With enough skill, effort and a ton of bux, you can put nearly anything into almost everything.

There are some net sites devoted to the Ford in a Merc swap.

I have a buddy who is putting a 351W into a Merc, but his project keeps getting stalled due to health issues

Like maybe "I'm SICK of spending money on this turd"????
Easiest and cheapest way is to buy a whole running donor car and strip everything out of it, including the wiring harness.
