1970 "A" body seat interchange

I have a 70 buick gs that came with a split bench seat with center armrest. The car was missing the seat when I purchased the car. I want to bring it back to original, being that its a rare #'s matching 3 speed muncie floor shift car.
My question is, are the oldsmobile, pontiac, or chevelle/el camino the same, other than upholstery?

That is a mixed bag.

Some parts are & some are not.

I can tell you from experience that Pontiac front suspension parts are in their own class.

Most the time you are better off looking up & down in the time line than manufactures interchange.

I think you Q would be best answered by someone with a Hollander interchange OR like a year one interchange.

Also , if you don't find the answer here check

Yes, the seat frames on a lot of these GM cars are the same, the seat buns and upholstery are different. It is also possible the seat frames were the same for a few model years.
