1970 Chevelle SS questions
Hey guys,
How much would a 1970-72 Chevelle SS body go for? I've discovered one in a neighborhood close to where I live and am thinking about approaching the owner. The car is just sitting behind his house, covered with pine needles. I barely recognized it as a chevelle, Im not sure of its year or of its condition, but the body looks straight and im assuming it has no engine...how much $$$ should I be prepared to show to rescue this car?

i would say anywhere from 2500 to 10000. just depends on what kind of shape its in.. obviously, a 70 would bring more than a 72.. then again, if it is sitting behind his house, covered in pine needles, and has no use for it, you may get it cheaper.. i know where 2 70 model chevelles are that sound about like what this one is, and they both want 10000..

If it has 4 headlights, its a 70...................Also, the SS had the round gauges, not the sweep speedo.
