1970 Chevy Engine Swap

WANTING TO PUT A 588 BBC IN A 1970 CHEVY 4X4 JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY MODS THAT NEED TO BE DONE OTHER THEN THE TRANS TO HANDLE THE POWER AN THE 33X12.50s

why, do you think nobody here has a 4x4 chevy truck?
I used to have a monster truck with rockwell axles and 52" tires!!!!!!

if it is 1/2 ton you will need to beef up everything (depending on which transfer case you have)

3/4 ton and up, maybe front axle and transfer case
just need to know what the rest of the trucks running gear components are
what the intended uses will be

dont have the truck yet but looks like a 3/4 is the better way to go what is your advice for the whole nine yards will be used as a on road /off road truck motor should be around 700hp
