1970 ford f100 lowering how to?

i want to lower my old bump and was wondering if i could get about a 2 inch drop in the front by cutting the coils and still be able to get the beams aligned

i'm also trying to do this for free.99, i have the time just not the money

and i want about 2 inches out of the back to so if you got a good cheap method im game

Rear: axle flip (best method to go real low since you can add blocks for more lowering), shackles, lower stiffer leaf springs.
Front: spindles, springs (cut or buy new ones).

Can't cut springs on that being there are no balljoints/ possibility of balljoint adjusters like the later trucks. No drop spindles available for the Twin I beams. Only solution is the Panther car front ( bolt on swap ) or Dream beams/ Belltech beams.

Sorry didnt realize it was twin i beam. I looked around for you and it looks like most guys go with drop beams from djm.

I used the DJM Kit to lower my 76. Good product. Very good support. There was always a tech available to answer questions during business hours.
