1970 Vette Engine

Can't seem to find anything about the engine in this car
So thought I would try Hot Rodders CF 128463 engine ser #

The number does not look right you sure you got all the numbers? Looks like its one short.

Here is a link that will show you all the casting number. If you click on the link below and click the link to quickly decode your engine you will see where to find the corret numbers.

Go here and read up on what codes to look for and what they mean.

The two main things are the casting number back by the distributor and the suffix code that's located on the passenger front of the engine where the head and block meet. The date code might be needed as well.
