Lightbulb 1972 dodge dart swinger

i recently purchased a 1972 dodge dart swinger.... it currently has a 225 slant six in it but i would like to put a 360 in.... i was wondering if anyone knew if the engine mounts would match up or if i would have to fabricate them.... i have seen darts with a 318 and being as the block is the same i would think it would match up.... the engine i'm looking at also come with a dana rear??? i'm not sure what that is so if anyone knows i would appreciate it if they could explain....

Deuce is correct. A V8 in a Dart would require a K-member from an original V-8 "A"Body Mopar(Darts, Dusters, Demons, Scamps). Mopar's old performance parts division "Direct Connection" used to carry the K-members but I don't know if Mopar Performance carries them now.
A piece of advice, before you start you should take a look at the area where the torsion bars connect to the sub-frame. These are very prone to rotting out (especially in the snow belt)and if bad enough would need to be reinforced. The extra weight of the V-8 doesn't help the situation. I mention this because it's easier to fix this area while there is no engine in the car.
