1972 Ford F100/Ranger XLT

ive got a question and i hope someone has an answer. I have replaced the transmission pan gasket, filter, and speedo-gear on my 72 ranger xlt, now i need to fill it back up with trans fluid. I believe it is a c-6 trans and it has a 360 ci motor in it with 2 wheel drive. I was wondering if anyone knew about how much fluid ill need and what kind?? Every auto parts place ive called doesnt have the information in their computers, most of them havent heard of a Ford Ranger XLT either haha im more worried about the type of fluid to use. Any help would be most appreciated!!

Automatic Transmission & Torque Converter Fluid Capacity
http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Tech...d_capacity.asp

The Converter will have fluid in it so don't add too much, about 3-4qts. should be plenty. Start engine, shift to R,D & recheck level, fill as needed. Type-F fluid.
