1973 chevy truck wiper motor

i have a 1973 chevy truck that i just installed a painless wiring harness on,I need to rewire the wiper motor to work with the new harness.the old harness had the wiring for the motor feeding through the harness to the switch.i am using a switch from a 1980 chevy truck for the new wiper switch.I am not sure if the motor needs to be fed from the switch or at the motor itself. I need a wiring diagram to complete this process.bsmiller123@gmail.com

I have a wiring diagram for the 1974 Chevy light trucks (pickups) if that is what you have. I could scan in that page and email it to you if that is what you need.

However, the wiring for a 1980 switch should be nearly identical to a 1973 truck. They added power windows and locks in about '77 or '78, but other than that these trucks stay nearly the same from about '73-'80. Even when they revised the body in about '81 I don't think there was a big change in the wiring.
