1973 Ford 460 Modifications
I have a 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. It bares the original 460 Big Block. I have been curious of adding some preformace parts to the 460. Not, saying the engine is already powerful, at being in Stock form. But, I know the engine is not yet even close to its full potential. But, since times are tough. I was trying to see if there are any basic Modifications that can be done. The only upgrades done, it that the car was upgraded from a points ignition to and electronic Ignition, also had 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust ( with sepererate Flow master mufflers ), and a so called Daul Ram air intake Air Cap, ontop of the original Motorcraft Carb. But, like I said, I'm just looking for basic upgrade, cuase 1. times are tough right now, and for 2. I dont want to distort the engines Originality too much....
