1973 Nova ??? Advice

I Hav a '73 chevy nova which i picked up 4 free in arizona as a decent rolling chasis. This whole car was stripped wen i got it, no upolstry, engine, tranny, driveline, gauges, etc.. It did hav a bucket seat and im being literal, a 5gal. bucket seat that i threw out. I tore it apart even more, un-bolted the front sub-frame, took off the rear axle and leafs, fenders, trunk lid , ya-no bare. I need to find good parts for cheap or even for free if not wanted. Also i bought a 68 327 large journal block and it didnt come with crank caps or anything else, with that i bought a th350 tranny which now someone is trying to tell me its a th700r4 which wud be nice but not quite sure. i need help and advice because im not 100% sure which direction i want to go with this car but i do know i want it to be able to do wheelstands at a red light and run 10 sec 1/4 miles i think but also be street legal and a daily driver. I hav the option to run a 427 but not liking the mpgs on that but either way this car is going to eat a **** load of gas i already know. any suggestions id appreciate it
