1973 Nova Steering Gear

I have sub framed my 1955 chevy pickup with a nova clip. during the tilt colume intall I found that the nova gear box has a rough spot just off of the center postion, I guess what I am asking is there a newer style gear box I can use with the same bolt pattern to up grade to the common 3/4 30 spline box and move away from the 11/16 36 spline.

Thank You
Jason

Manual or power? Manual box 525 out of an S10, or 805 power box from the same source. You have to use the old Pitman arm, and reposition it for rear steer. You will also need asapters for power steering hose fittings if you go that route.
