1974 Chevy 1/2 ton truck

i want a good suspension that will hold up on the street and off road because i live out were there is a lot of dirt roads so i need it to be durable. if someone could give me some pointers.

For a street rod build, I would suggest a four link for the rear. For springs you could go with some lowering springs or if you are going for the slammed look you could go with air bags.

There is a wealth of information on this board, just spend time combing through the posts and you will see many possiblities for your truck.

If the dirt roads there are anything like the dirt roads here, you might be better off keeping the stock truck suspension with some good heavy shocks.
