My PU, 1974, radiator cap is original. The Overflow is where you add fluid. I want to replace this cap since it is original. It is not like a regular cap, looks like it is made to the radiator. How do I get it off? Does it just twist off or do I need to push it down first, remember this is not a standard cap. Do I need a special tool to remove it? 1974 Dodge PU, 360 engine, automatic trans. The truck is heating up I think the thermostat is stuck closed. So if I need to work on the cooling system I plan to do it right.
