I know for a fact that they are c-clip. I tore up several in my 76 MC when I was younger

I was just wondering because I have a set of 11" rear drums from a 76 mc. Planning on putting them on a 12 bolt moser press on bearing rearend. Trying figure out if I have elongate the backing plate to go over the bearing.
