Good question . I have no idea how many were made or sold for that matter . I know the spokes person they were using trying to sell it was Don knotts . This was an episode on " Trucks " on spike TV . It was a fairly high performance truck for the time . Something like a 383 hipo in it . Here's some more reading :

My buddy wants to do a street rod " the Dude " . He's looking at athe L, M, J, body styled front suspension . I thought it was a little too light duty . I suggested the the Cordoba front suspension . I can't find anything in the line of pictures , diagrams , etc. I'd like to show him another alternative to consider .
Thanx |

I had a 75 Cordoba at one time and it was the best all around "family car" we have owned. The smogged 400 CI with 4 barrel was ok after removing smog stuff and gutting the converter. The torsion bar suspension in the front was better than any other large car suspension and just plain fun to drive. And MOPAR did a great job of sound proofing these cars: they were quieter than any Caddy or Continental I ever drove or rode in. That front end would work great on the "Dude"

Girl I dated back in the early 1980s, her parents owned a Corboda at the time. It was either a '75 or '77? I don't recall which?
Her dad couldn't keep his foot out of the carb so the fuel saving light which was part of the exterior light package was constantly on. |
