1977 ford f-150 motor

I found an old ford f-150 that probably runs for 200 bucks.It has a 9-inch rearend its 2wd and a 351 engine, what i want to know is this engine a big block or small block. Thanks, jake

If that is the original mill in there, I'm about 97% sure that it will be a 351M engine.

"small block" / "big block" terms don't really apply to Ford.
A 351M is in the "335 Series"

It's worth the $200 all day. No matter what, be careful, that truck/engine etc will have an accumulation or growth of what is commonly referred to as Ford Dust.
