1978 Chevy c10
I have a 1978 Chevy c10. It has a 327 engine from a 1968 Corvette. How do I find out if it has 300 HP or 350 HP. I was told if I take off the oil pan i can tell from how many bolts it Has. Is that true? If not, How do i find out? Thanks, JOE

No....there were no 4 bolt main 327s
You have to look up the suffix on the number on the pad right in front of the passenger side head. You can look them up here.. http://www.mortec.com/ BTW...moving this to the engine forum...this is for intros only.
