1979 Cougar FMX to AOD swap : need help
I have a 1979 Cougar with a 302 and an FMX trans, and I want to swap in an AOD. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, or has anyone done this specific (FMX to AOD) conversion? Also, I want to put an 86-93 5.0 H-pipe under the car. I figure I can take almost the whole exhaust, header to muffler off a 5.0 and fit it without too much hassle, save for the tailpipes, but I would appreciate and info anyone has about this as well.

d2mmaso how are you .. well im sorry to say i don't know much about aod switch.. but.. lol i do however... know the trials and tribulations of the dreaded FMX haha.. well im sure they .. can work well but.. mine was a "pos" just finishing up going to the C6 . keep me posted on how it works out .
