1980 chev 350 timing

I have purchased a edelbrock power package containing 64cc performer rpm heads, rolling thunder cam (234in, 238ex degrees at .05) timing gears and chain set, air gap intake, also have Howards hydraulic roller lifters and push rods, hooker headers and street fire HEI distributor, edelbrock 650 carb the rest of the engine is stock. I'm getting prepped for the tear down and the only procedure I'm not sure on is how to time the distributor and which key way to use on crank gear. Any procedures or suggestions for this build would be very helpful. Thanks

If you are not going to degree in the cam to verify the valve events install it on the 0 neutral key way.

No added advance or retard is needed. You do not need a multi keyway crank gear.
Install in the normal position.

The distributor timing curve will need to be modified for this motor to idle and perform well.
The out of the box curve is not right.
Should have bought the 750 or 800 edelbrock carb.

That cam needs a 3000+ stall converter and gears
