1980 gmc 1 ton
 

This truck has a 292 in it. I believe it's called a Mexican 4 speed transmission. Can l take the 292 transmission and bolt it up to a Chevy small block? What would have to be changed? If anything...l heard it's all the same. Thanks

depends on what clutch your truck used? The fit is the same,most flywheels will accommodate 11 inch clutches.It should be a straight swap.
