1980's ford 300 6
I called a guy on a parts truck that he had for my project...he has a 1980 ford f150 with a 300 6...i totaly trust the engines,,,but what stumped me was that he said that the truck had a 5spd tranny...did 5spds come that early in the f150s with teh strait 6's?

there was 1 5spd that was used that early.. but most were 4spds

pretty common drivetrain combo down here, I believe that 5 speed tranny was made by mazda.
