1981 Camaro Emissions question

Does anyone know definitively if all 1981 camaros had smog pumps or just the california cars? I live in Houston, Tx. where you can not get a car inspected if it does not have all of the emissions equipment that it came with. Also, if they all did not, how can you tell if one was supposed to have it or not?

My 81' was an East coast car with a 305/T-10 and had a pump. I'm thinking everything with a carb had one. It wasn't until the injected motors came out that they started doing away with the pumps. Dan
