1981 Camaro fuel cell wiring

I just bought a 16 gallon fuel cell for my Camaro and it has a GM sending unit installed and I was wondering how to hook up my stock fuel sending unit line to the two posts on the cell?

Wire from guage goes to one post on cell, the other post gets a wire hooked to chassis ground. If it reads incorrect(full when empty)just reverse the wires on the posts.

Is the sender the correct ohm resistance scale to match your GM guage??

Never mind, I see you said GM sender.
