1982 cutlass 307 idle issue

does anybody know what a 1982 cutlass 307 is suppost to idle at?

There should be an emission sticker underhood with the specs on it.
I would think that 650 in gear would be correct. Engine warmed up fully AC off.

Ill have too look i tried to ajust my carb cause when i crank it on it will idle really high then i give it some gas and slows down a bit but still high

The CCC carb by GM is not a DIY carb. They are pretty complicated, and when they start to act up , usually they need rebuilt.
If the check engine light is on you need to figure out why.
Trying to adjust one of those probably wont work out well , at least until after a rebuild.

625-650 rpm in drive should work nicely.

Have you adjusted the choke high idle speed at all?

Are you using a non-CCC distributor?
