1983 Chevy Diesel to Gas conversion
I have recently been given a 1983 chevy suburban with the 6.2 liter diesel engine. The diesel has blown up (why I am getting the vehicle in the first place for free). I am thinking about taking the diesel out of it and dropping in a chevy 350. It has the TH700 R4 auto trans in it and I don't know if I will need to do any huge spending to get it to work. I am getting the 350 for pretty cheap, so I am not worried about buying an engine. My main question is, will it bolt right up to the tranny? Thanks in advance.
