1984 chev blazer with 700r4 trans

when i first start the blazer it will move in all gears. after it warms up it will not move at all

With the info you have givin. Your low on fluid or the filter is plugged

that is what i was thinking but wasn't for sure. i will let you know if i find something else out or that dosent work

A heads-up, the more info you can supply the more accurate the answer will be. It is very hard to do diagnostics over the internet.

well i replaced the filter and made the pan an inch deeper since it looked like the filter was hitting the bottom of the pan. i got all gears for about a mile and now all i have is reverse and 1st gear. reverse is slow to go in and 1st is right there. the oil does not smell burnt and looks like it is still new.
