1984 Gmc High Sierra
Hi guys I am going to need some help I am transferring all my parts from a 1984 Gmc High sierra to a donor cab, because IT was cheaper than just replacing the inner and outer rocker panels and corner caps my interior is Red and the donor Cab is velvet blue is in good condition but not my style and someone actually had paid a lot of money to have this done all over this cab. I am trying to remove the dash, or does it even come out, i manage to remove the to 1/2 bolts attach to each side and three small bolts on the metal of the dash, (the dash pad is out) I can move the dash but still it will not come out, should I remove the winshield and will i find more bolts? thanks and hope someone gets back to me.

If It Moves Freely Then I Dont Think It Has Any More Bolts. Try Lifting The Front Of It Up A Little And Pull Towards You It Has Some Clips That Go Into Some Cut Outs Under The Dash. Hope It Works For You

84 Gmc dash panel removal
I try to to that today , but the dash panel would not come out, so I broke the windshield just to see what was under it . (the windshield was crack to begin with) and I found out that is welded, so I am thinking of cutting it, and replace it with the other dash panel and overlap the metal and use rivets, besides it will be cover by the dash pad.
