Does anyone know what the difference is between a regular 302 and a 302 H.O.??? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

The H.O. uses a 351W firing order. The H.O. uses roller lifters.

I have a 84 T Bird that came with a 302 FI (none HO)engine. It had 165 HP. The 302 HO Mustangs that year had the Holley carb,Hotter cam,Alum. intake and I think the heads were different. They had 200 HP.
In 85 I think the Mustang went to SFI in place of the carb.HP went to 225.I am not sure when they started using the roller cams and the tube header type exhaust. It may have been in 85.
