1985 camaro

can some one help i have a 1985 camaro on the rear axle it has 91a c094 2 or 9ia c094 2 is this the right axle for it and what gears it has

Maybe this will help, if you find your differential, compare it to your RPO codes inside the glove box to see if it's stock. Google VIN codes for your vehicle.

thanks a lot is 3.08 gears good for racing or for long distance driving

What RPM your motor is turning at speed is defendant on final transmission gear ratio, rear-end gearing and rear tire diameter. IMO 3.08 gears are better for the street than strip. They could work in a very light car for weekend fun, not a serious contender. Take a look at the attachment.
