1986 305 chevy vs. 1987 305 chevy new style small block

Will the exhaust manifolds from a 86 305 fit on a new style 305
with the center bolts in the valve covers?????

Thanks for any help

I've heard that you cant use the over the plug type manifolds on centerbolt heads because the manifold is too close to the rubber valve cover gasket.Mine was a daily driver for 5 years and I never had any problems.
