1986 F150 351W wiring diagram

ive noticed plenty of diagrams for the f150 1986... im having troubles finding a wiring diagram for the 351 windsor tho. all of the harness is shot so i am doing a rewiring job. i got most done but theres some wiring that was missing or fell off. does anyone have a page of a diagram that shows alternater or ignition, or the alt regulator or perhaps the whole damn thing? it would help alot thanks guys

local resource center.

When I was a kid we called it the library. some have a reference area with shop manuals that you can copy the pages you need.... no more check out because of all the greasy fingerprints on the old ones,

Autozone can save you that trip to the lie-berry. Membership is free, and you can even set up service reminders / recall notification fo your "fleet" of vehicles.

I use their wiring diagrams a lot. They're a little hard to find ... but they're usually there.

Erm

The diagram above doesn't help?

The easy answer?
Go to the junkyard and find similar trucks / engines / drivetrains / trim level / etc, then compare wiring harnesses.
Ford actually identifies their wiring harnesses with an engineering number, which can be found on a label right on the harness.

Look for a number in the following format: E3TE-14401-A2A (or similar)

If you find one that is VERY close to what your own is (i.e E3TE-14401-A3A) ... jot the number down and head to your local Ford dealer's parts department.

They should be able to check and verify if they are the same or not, and possibly what is different. (lights versus guages for example)
