1986 Regal front brake failure problems

Hi

My buddy has a 1987 Regal with hydraulics. Randomly when he locks up the front and back strokes. The front brakes randomly stop working. All the suspension looks fine and it only does it randomly after the car is locked up. We just got done painting it and im wanting to hear from the pros whats causing it.

Fresh paint ahhHhhHhh.
