1987 Chevu PU

Hello, I'm new (frist time on anything like this). I have completly restored a 66 Chevy PU and now working on a 1987 Chevy PU. Does anyone know of any problems I'd have if I install 3" drop spindles and use 15" wheels? I have heard that I may not be able to use a 15" wheel with these spindles.

about 2-1/2" is as far as you want to go on the spindles.

You will also need a backspace of 4" or less.

anything more than 4 and the wheel will rub on the lower control arm in turns.
Stock ralleys (8") for this truck are at 4-1/8"--and they will rub.

Thanks for the information. I have read that wheel clearence could give you problems on 2.5 drop spindles and 3 would for sure. I may go with the 2.5 drop spindles and use a spacer to space the wheel out. Thanks again
