Can anyone recommend an seat, with a consul, that would be an easy swap for my 1989 Chevy reg. cab bench seat?

I put in seats from a 2003 f150, nice & comfy, but not easy - custom tracks, floor mods including removing floor sheetmetal humps to lower seats and provide floor reinforcement. The seats have integrated seat belts and so they need to be solidly attached to a solid floor so they function in an accident.

I like them better than the old bench seat.

Is your truck the old body style (1973-1991) or new body style (1988-2000)? If the latter, there must be millions of those trucks built. Look for Suburbans. These have either buckets with a console or a split bench with a fold down arm rest console. My crewcab dually has the power split bench with arm rest console.
