1989 Honda Accord DX Sedan Headlight problems

I just purchased this accord for my grandaughter and the headlights, taillights and dash lights dont work. I can get the high beams to come on if I hold back on the head light, turn signal lever. the turn signals work and the wipers work. I assume that this is all one unit and you must pull the steering wheel to replace it? My Question is, is there a master fuse some where fir the headlights? Ive checked all of the individual fuses for the left and right, high and low beams and they are fine! is it the column assembly? the head light doors will only come up and go down if I use the dash switch. Can anybody lead me in the right direction?

It will be tough to nail down without an electrical wiring diagram to study as the circuit could be configured a few ways.
It may have DRL (daytime running lights) and have a bad module, or it could have a bad headlight switch, or ???
If you can get the correct wiring diagram and post it, I would be glad to help you pin it down.
It does sound like the headlight switch may be the problem , and it isnt necessary to pull the wheel off to change it, IIRC.
Fact is stranger than Fiction

I don't believe that it has DRL'S but I did pull the column housing off and it looked to me as though the headlights, turn, and wipers on the other side of the column are all one unit that surrounds it. and none of the wiring has been fooled with. I will try to find and send you the wiring diagram for my vehicle
